4/29-5/3 Week 34 Blast for Educators

 Week 34 Blast 4/29-5/3

Our performance assessments are finally here! I’ve witnessed a handful of students practicing their presentations which is an indication to me that these presentations are extremely important to them. Please remember to go over your schedule for the week and be prepared to welcome our community partners. Our students will be depending on advisors to not only support them in preparation for their presentations, but to hold the space with authority and love while they present.

A major shout out to Suzie Blandon-Buck of Nutrition Services! She has been nominated by Claire Davenport’s classroom for the I Love My School Lunch Hero campaign. A video was submitted, and judges have ranked Suzie as the first-place winner for the secondary grade level winner. A check for $500 will be sent to Suzie and an additional $500 will be sent to Claire Davenport to be used in her classroom. CONGRATULATIONS to Suzie and a huge THANK YOU to Clare Davenport for taking the time to submit the nomination on Suzie’s behalf!
