Ms. Elisa Baeza

About

Ms. Baeza worked as a Service Learning Program intern last year and is now the Outreach Consultant at June Jordan. Her work revolves around creating intervention plans that comprehensively embrace the needs of students with attendance, wellness, and academic issues. These intervention plans are meant to accomodate the needs of the students to help them become successful members of the June Jordan community.

 Ms. Baeza enjoys doing work that serves her community, she's worked with bay area urban high school students in a social justice/education setting 6 years and counting.  She plans to continue working in settings that promote the betterment and wellness of underserved communities in the bay area.

Ms. Baeza is a Xicana (of Mexican origins) and was born and raised in San Francisco (Outer Mission, Excelsior).  In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, going to music shows, dancing in a Mexica (Aztec) Danza group, and spending time with family and friends
